Could you pass this on to IT Admin please?

I deleted my Ad Blockers needed to view Bladesmad so I could assess the site, but currently without them it’s slow as hell, the Ads are excessive and intrusive, there are auto redirects to other websites and page errors and reloads. It’s basically become every bit as bad as Bladesman was to view right now lads, this is my 4th attempt to post this message on iPhone and iPad.

It’s not a broadband bandwidth problem, (I average 75/18) I think the problem is that there are just too many Ads and videos opening and reopening for the network adapters on hand-held devices to handle the throughput, which was exactly same problem we had on Bladesmad. It’s overloading them. Slow to open, jittering typing, and the pages keep restarting due to ‘error. Being auto redirected to other websites is separate issue to the overloading and just shouldn’t happen on a decent website.

I’ve tried it on my PC and it can handle the Ads ok, but unless something changes, the only way users will be able to access this site on hand-helds will be to block the Ads which is obviously counter productive for your network and is exactly the same issue that led to the demise of Bladesmad network.

Could you get back please?
 
I am on my computer and on my Blackberry without any problems.

I view this site on an ipad - with adblock ON - and have no problems. Unlike Gray, I’m not at all technical so can’t comment on his post, but I’m sure intrusive ads are counter productive. They simply infuriate and would NEVER encourage me to buy whatever it is they are attempting to sell.
For this reason, I have the Adblock on the whole time - for everything!
 
With Adblock on it’s fine on my iPad however when my iPad went down I borrowed my dads for a few days so I could keep in touch and it was nigh on impossible to use
 
As I said, I’ve taken the Adblockers off everything to give the site a chance. The W10 PC can handle the Ads, the iPhone uses a different mobile format to view with less throughput and it’s so so but I harldly use it. I use an iPad with IOS12 and I’ve also tried it on my older one with IOS10 and iPad is what I use nearly all the time.

You don’t have to be an IT engineer to figure this one out guys. I only have a problem with this site, all the others that I use are fine. Other people may have a different configurations, of software and hardware which can affect things but this site was super fast when we joined it for me and now it’s not. We all know the answer to the problem but I’m hoping that unlike the FMN these guys will take note.

That’s how mine is now Bully, I’m using the phone currently which isn’t as bad but it’s still not great mate.
 
Well bm is probably at Blackburn today we don’t have a back office anymore we only mod the this board now so it needs the powers from above to sort it,a dm to the main man is what’s required I’m sure he’s on one of the pinned posts

Cheers Bully? A couple of guys appeared early doors to welcome us all, and one asked us not to use blockers as the Ads paid for the board’s upkeep. Hopefully he’ll be on the case.
 
It’s like a few players we have had over the years. While on trial they look worldies but now everyone has moved over it is slow. It is getting as bad as BM.
 
@Grayblade I use cpu and have no issues. I find it slightly slow on my phone but my phone is useless. I have passed this onto HQ and they will look into it! UTB
 
No probs here using my laptop apart from having an almost empty screen when clicking on a thread and needing to scroll down to read owt
