The official attendance was 3,633 (2,200 away fans). Not to be pedantic, but no way were there 1,400 home fans in attendance. I'd love to know where the club's numbers have come from.
 
Of course there was 1400, the West stand was full.
a rough estimate of 14 or 15 rows times that by 80 seats a row.
1350 to 1500 seats.

Have a look on twitter old chaps, there are pictures of an empty east and south and a few in the west but the Bolton fans are in numbers in the Kop.
