I thought I'd 'accidentally' stumbled on a NSFW site....quality name, couldn't make it up!

So the Russians have been cheating since forever - who knew?? Well, everyone, but were probably too scared to blow the whistle. Nothing surprises me anymore in international 'sport' - if the administrators aren't on the take, the officials are, and as for the 'athletes'.....it's all such a massive farce.
 
I can't believe it's only Russia though . The mandate for this report was to only concentrate on Russia because of the allegations against them in the Sunday Times/German telly investigation. I am sure if the did the same level of investigation into other countries then in would uncover some dark secrets.

If the head honcho was on the take then I bet he didn't just accept bries from Russia and Russia alone.

Totally agree sirdennis.

They're all in it up to their necks I would suggest - the temptation and greed are just too much for power- and success-hungry types to resist.

Football is the most obvious offender - corrupt from the top down, and is there a Federation which isn't infected with the same kind of corruption, backhanders and dodgy deals. And to think the FA are still sitting on the fence re Platini!! He's had his snout in the trough for the past 20 years, does anyone really expect him to get away with it?

Athletics is similarly discredited, as is cycling, albeit in different ways - ie, the competitors are the fraudsters, protected by the powers that be to try and save the image of the sport.

As usual, the only losers are the loyal and trusting fans, who pay their hard earned while the 'competitors', administrators and TV people gladly rake it in while flicking two fingers in our general direction while they count they ill-gotten millions :111:

Including Britain I fear! The programme on not long back was pretty damning with the head of drug testing admitting they couldn't keep up and the reporter illustrating how you could do doping without being detected.
 
I think all them who do that ski jump must be as high as a kite. Who in their right mind would come down that slope and fly off the end, LSD comes to mind. ..........now I wonder about Eddie the eagle :17:
 
It has been going on for years in athletics. You only have to look at the old East German athletes before the 'Iron Curtain' came down and the reunification of Germany.

Most of their women athletes looked like guys....
