Madueke showing what a winger should do, driving into box, best players and laid off for the goal.

Meanwhile Hutchison stops it dead, lifts his left and runs into defenders

Wasted 37m
So Hutchinson isn’t as good as the best winger in the league right now. OK.

But his stats this season are better than any of our other wingers including CHO.

Don’t know why you want to scapegoat him so much.

Stats against other shit wingers…. Yeah that’s solid.

It’s not scapegoating when it’s in front of our eyes…. Abd at 37.5m he should be pressing, should be taking on defenders and should be able to bloody cross.

All our wingers are poor…. But they didn’t cost 37.5m

Thing is…. EM doesn’t need to apologise… nuno started it all and left him no choice.

Was edu bad idea…probably but Nuno needed to just do his job.
I think the more pertinent question is what were the terms of reference when Nuno signed up. We've had a Director of Football for eons. So there must have been some clause stipulating that nuno must work with a DOF. So is it the idea of any DOF that nuno doesn't like or is it just EDU?

If rumours are to be believed it’s more a Mendes issue but I’m sure Nuno/edu is the lion share of the issue.

If edu wasn’t asking his views on players then o see why that’s frustrating, but it’s dealt with like adults in private

If Nuno had say and was bitching after 200m spent because he wanted traore then I side with edu as he’s useless and not what we need

I think from what we have heard, this is the likely cause. Media always, always make out it was a Nuno/EM issue. EM had no choice, as he cannot sack his global head of football after 4 weeks because Nuno doesnt like him

Its not Hutch's fault he cost £37.5m
Its not a black mark against his ability that someone else decided that was his price.

Mendes v Joorabchian wasn't it? battle of the Super Agents

West Ham fans already complaining about the Nuno-Mendes connection saying they are paying £25m for random Portugese nobodies.
Just looked their new striker Pablo up and who his agent is

Well, whadaya know?

Gestifute, Mendes's agency

And their new player, Taty Castellanos? £25m transfer apparently brokered by Mendes

It all feels pretty rancid

Out of all the guesses and questions regarding Nuno leaving, following the money gives you the answer, as usual.
Aye lad, it's money that's destroyed the game. I remember when we chased a pig's bladder round a bomb site...

...but it's obvious that stuff like Sky money has largely destroyed the game.

Which is one reason why agents flourish and seem to have far too much influence.

People have even pointed out (cynically) that for a multimillion dollar industry it's suspiciously clean, no hint of stuff like match-fixing...what about Villa's first and third goals?

Victor goes with his wrong hand to concede the first (on HT - dramatic!), goes walkabout for the third then goes down dramatically clutching his leg, asking for the understudy to replace him. Clearly acting, but who's writing the script?

Still quite pleased that after four defeats we're still four points clear of West Ham. Big game coming up.

What do you mean?

I suggested we played a style in the first half which prevented us being knackered at HT and you reply 'So why weren't they knackered then?' What I said.

Or do you mean Villa? Well since they broke the spell and scored on the stroke of HT, then added another soon after the break, they weren't knackered. The Sky commentators were drooling about how they might get 4 or 5 - but instead we got one back, and if JV hadn't gone walkabout, who knows?
Your actually right on this one, so I apologise. I read it as their pressing was exceptional, not their passing.

Jesus Christ, has anyone seen that Man Utd line up away at Leeds?

Fucking hell, that's the team you send out at home to a Conference side in the FA Cup third round

Talk.about a gift for Leeds. And unlike us at home to Everton, I would expect them to take it
