I shall not be watching this as will be on a flight from India, hence the Kali sponsorship, before our own Kali looks for greener grass in Frankfurt.

Weather in south India is hot and sunny, but that is very different from north west Birmingham.

I presume nobody started a match thread because everyone feels so mutinous. But these are the sorts of matches that sometimes pleasantly surprise us.

Start 2026 as mean to go on.
 
Expecting nothing else but a defeat today so anything other than that would be a nice surprise. Highly unlikely of course but you never know.
 
Who cares what we do at Wrexham ? We should be concentrating on the Premiership and not on the FA cup which in all likelihood we have no chance of winning so who cares if we put out a reserve side at Wrexham ?

I do , confidence will be even lower if we keep losing.
 
I don’t give us a prayer today sadly. It’s the first game of the season I actually won’t be watching by choice. When we’re 2 or 3 down at 70 minutes and Dyche replaces Jesus with Taiwo - think I’d rather not witness that.

I may have predicted we’d lose the last 3 but it doesn’t make it any less dispiriting. Going to West Ham Tuesday and dreading it. We will be in the relegation zone on Wednesday IMO.
 
Can’t remember the last time we went into a season with so much hope, optimism & excitement only for it all to fall apart so badly & so quickly. EM has worked wonders for this club but he, Nuno & Ange really slipped us a crippled from which we’re really finding it difficult to revover
