The football was beautiful then, must’ve been 20 passes but it’s a balance in knowing when to play it forward and not over play.

The one thing I will say is that every player has confidence, and the shape we play out from the back when emi has it is very deliberate, the angles are perfect - as frightening as it is watching sometimes. Emi is a great footballer too, as called out by many when we signed him

Again I'm saying this and I don't remember a time like it.

But we can/should still improve so much as we all see how sloppy we are and individual players (Jack not having his best tonight) but we are head and shoulders better even still.

I've never known a Villa squad mix it like this (5 pts off Liverpool with the win & games in hand) yet still have so much improvement to make specifically within the group of players and not improve via signings.
