Sorry to bring this up, but we have some more points to surrender on Tuesday night against Middlesbrough.

Of the front three, Adama and Downing will be fired up for this one and then you have an in form Assombalonga who will bully Chester all game.

Chester has been all over the place this season (not in a good way), thought he was dreadful yesterday could've cost us two goals.
 
Villa 0 Boro 2. Adama and Gestede to score, both set up by Downing.

Much wailing on here about giving Bruce time/10 matches/until Christmas. As if that is going to make a blind bit of difference.

A few more injuries and Steve might actually stumble into a decent formation. Our two decent matches, Norwich and Wigan - did wonder if the players did it by ignoring Bruce rather than following his orders. In general, wonder if they're fed up with no proper plan and having to make it up on the hoof.

No great hopes for this one. We could beat them. Probably should beat them. But they will come here thinking that we are toothless and can be got at, and they're probably right.

1-2 and more procrastinating is far more likely. Remember McLeish and Lambert - always takes twice as long for a manager to finally go, even if it's completely bloody obvious they're out of their depth

Could happen, this is a weird league, and we have the players to beat anyone.

But for me it would just be another "Norwich" game, followed by another 2 or 3 dreadful performances before somehow pulling off another win.

We don't improve after wins or push on. We're learning nothing.

I really dont like saying this. I will leave at 3.30 and get there about 6.30, I will get home at 1am knowing I have to get up at 4.45.

I desperately want to come home buzzing, with the thought of "they can throw as much shite at me this week as they want, coz i work to get the money to go the Villa, and the Villa were superb !!!!.

But alas, it aint gonna happen is it. Adama will utterly wrip us apart, on both flanks. Assombalonga will eat Chester for breakfast.

I can see a humiliation on Tuesday and a twewt on Wednesday from the Villa confirming the inevitable.

Sack Bruce but then what !? Turmoil, more upheaval, more power to the players . Swapping manager is not the answer imho . If Bruce can't sort this club out I a man struggling to think anyone can in a quick fix manner .

Or a new manager comes in, sorts the formation and play out, gets the players fit, gives those such as Lansbury and Adomah on the fringes a route back into the team if they want it...

I'm hoping that a new manager is the catalyst for our season to turn around.

I just don't see Bruce leading a villa team out in a game in the prem. So what's the point sticking with him?
 
I think you've all forgotten that Gestede and Adoma were just other crap buys along with some of those still playing for us. Shit or bust reaction 3 - 1 Villa.
 
I have no idea mate without going through Wikipedia for some names and yes I know there are limited options out there in terms of good, mainstream names. I'm sure the club receives 100 CV's everytime the merry go round continues, I suspect the Dr would go through a fair amount of diligence to get it right next time if he's not already.

I would hope we could go for the next Nuno santo or Marco silva.
