Strange.

A few weeks ago people were telling me the new ticketing system was fine when i called it ameteurish and telling me I was moaning for moaning sake..

Well i have three days to see if my season ticket arrives. Very good I must say. A new ticketing system that means the customers dont get their tickets.

I am not going Saturday as I am away. However, neither is the guy who was going to use my ticket, bevause there is no ticket to use !

Doesn't this season ticket problem happen every season? When I got mine a couple of years ago I had to get in touch with the ticket office due to it not turning up at my door close to the first fixture. They sent a match ticket free of charge.

You can get a match ticket ya mate can use if you ring them up.

No mention of a striker :3:

Flabby will start then

:94: "We are Aston Villa we fail to score when we want" :94:

Yeah. Two years ago they had to issue me paper tickets for the first two games.

Utterly shocking.

People like ariella grande can organise an event incorporating the worlds biggest names and sell 50000 tickets in less than a week.

Aston Villa cant do this one simple task, which hardly changes

Edit.

Too much hassle now. The 3 tickets will go to waste

Relax Holtelower , can't have your blood pressure to high when you are on holiday.

I'm glad it's not just me with the season ticket.
I'll give it until second post on Thursday then ask for paper tickets. Half an hour on the phone as well. Not a good sign. I envisage a mass queue on Saturday, waiting to pick up tickets.

This is so amateur and so typical Villa no season tickets just days before the KO.
Web site , players not even updated etc shambles !

The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game between Aston Villa and Hull City this Saturday.

Well thats my summer of relaxation well and truly over. News of this appointment has sent my blood pressure rocketing.

I will now have to spend the next few days simmering over this clown who is comfortably the worst referee known to man and will give the worst display anyone will have ever seen this season.

He's a proper 'look at me in the middle. I'm why you are all here' referee, who can't wait to enjoy his moment on the tele.

Don't know what I am dreading more.
Losing or the reaction from some on here if we do. Lol.!

Seriously though. Please please please can we refrain from the following if we lose the first game of a 46 game season. (Nod to the geordies who lost their first 2 games last season)

Bruce out
We won't get promoted
We will get relegated
Etc.

Let's just see how things settle into the early autumn first before all that malarkey and get behind our fcuking great club.

Agreed I do tire of the incompatible 'high expectations and extreme negativity' stuff we sometimes see.

In some ways my comments could be reflective of the above but I feel they are a much sparate class of incompatible views 'optimism combined with stark reality'.

I believe we will achieve promotion but performance-wise we will not pull up any trees. The metaphorical tortoise in this long slog of a race and I wouldn't even class it as a race its a marathon and if you cant go out to some dreary shithole on a wet Wednesday every couple of months and get a result you will not go up.

Remember defense wins championships and attack wins games. As much as I dislike Glenn Whelan he's the definition of what we're after no frills resiliency. In Terry, Chester, Whelan and Jedinak you've essentially got all the experience and ability to stop any side at this level if you really want to.

Fucking hell, the season starts this Saturday?

Fear was talking about watching the match here and I assumed he was talking about the friendlies.

We'd better get Ronaldo signed pronto.

Interesting to read that Bruce said pre season was geared to have a system that got the best out of Grealish , so who plays in the No.10 role on Saturday will be very interesting to see.

On subject of season tickets. As I can't make game on Saturday I put my season ticket seat on seatwave. It sold and having done this previously for the odd match have had no problem. This time however I keep getting emails this week from seatwave telling me to dispatch the ticket otherwise I will be charged for a non sale.

I have emailed them but they have not got back to me. Nothing on there suggested I could not sell my season ticket.

I've been away the past week so no idea if my ST has came or not. I've a wedding to go to Friday and into Saturday so if it's not there Friday morning when I'm back, they'd better be sending something special delivery as I can't rearrange my Saturday to suit their f**k up. Can't be arsed heading to the ground earlier to queue up for something I bought in April.

Sorry mate but this made me laugh what a fuck up and here was me stressing over trying to purchase Colchester,Cardiff and Reading away and now they are all on general sale I reckon people have give up on them as none are sold out and I wouldn't worry you will be sorted out eventually have you tried ringing the ticket office in my experience they have been very helpful.
