Well IF true it confirms Bruce isn't going anywhere soon.

This guy was his No 2 at Hull when they got promoted but then Bruce has had so many it's difficult to name them all!?

pretty sure he was linked before but couldn't get released, or something like that.

Know nothing about him. But maybe this will bring about some change? Calderwood hasn't made any improvements since coming, maybe there is going to be a changing of the guards so to speak.

Coached Middlesborough, Leeds and Hull. None of them renowned for their "progressive football". All a little bit underwhelming for me and I don't think we'll see a change in style with him involved.

I shall come back later and hope to find someone waxing lyrical about our new era about to start.

It's a fucking stupid move to add coaches at the moment especially one with relegation being his last achievement.

We are run by morons.

no-ones going to fall for this obvious subterfuge that it's actually
JF stood there 'coaching'

:14:

So very baldist... you'll be hearing from my lawyers!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I tell you what, I'd get the buggers going mate!

The longer steve bruce is manager of aston villa will form my opinion of how genuinely clever Dr tony is. De matteo was removed with speed , will bruce only remain due to cost constraints?

Could this be the attacking coach who will really get our front line firing? Nope, thought not...

Can't see what he brings to the table, to be honest.

Having looked into this, he has a win ratio as caretaker manager of 7.7% - i.e. 1 win in 13 games, his nephew is Jordan Rhodes. He looks a bit like Ray Wilkins. :10:
Fills me with joy and hope :20:

The Agnew household, late one night. Phone rings, he sees it’s Steve Bruce.
“Howay Steve”
“Howay Steve, how you doing?”
“Not too bad like, still unemployed and unemployable mind”
“Aye, well that might be all about to change bonny lad”
“Why, do I suddenly know a bit aboot football an all, like?”
“Don’t worry about that pet! You know how I’ve been able to get these daft chinamen to get all my useless old beer buddies on the payroll in non-jobs?”
“Aye, course I do”
“Well...”

Job for the boys, how many crap coaches do we need ?

If it meant Calderwood going then fabulous, just throwing another one in - pfffffft
