'Hurtful things people say to or about my adopted daughters'

A mum has recorded some of the hurtful things people have said to her two daughters in a powerful photo series called 'Things said to or about my adopted daughters.'

When Kim, from Virginia, America, decided to adopt two children from China, she had no idea that by doing so she was inviting strangers to comment on her family.

But over the last 13 years, Kim and her daughters have grown used to being approached by people who are intrigued by their differing appearances.

Some people make me ashamed to be human.

Had to turn off, I'm angry enough today with trolls and keyboard warriors.

What is wrong with people? Just look for the similarities instead of the differences.

I think Fear and I might be brothers, we're both white and bald :10:

Ignorance, pure ignorance. No manners, no respect. No brains either. I can't even imagine going up to someone and being that rude

Some cvnt said that to my kids or if i heard anybody saying that to a kid i would blow my top, sorry can't stand that shit in this life, kids am pure and un-corrupted they say what they think and am no matter what race the future of this world, we was all kids once so many seem to forget this, but to be that low and say sick stuff slagging a kid off is just disgusting, hang the ba**ads or lock em up for being haters!!

When I was 19 I broke my ankle. I was on a day trip to Chester with my GF, complete with cast and crutches. Anyone who has been to Chester knows that it was not built with people on crutches in mind so I was rather clumsily exiting a shop when some snooty cow, clearly thinking she was being well intentioned, took one look at me, held her young child back and whilst seemingly avoiding eye contact with me said, "Come out of the way of the invalid dear" to the kid. I know she was probably well intentioned and that it was her choice of phrase and tone of voice that annoyed me but it does go to show, that whilst this type of behaviour is not acceptable it is rarely anything other than ignorance and a lack of forethought that is to blame. Giving the benefit of the doubt to these people, I believe that they never intended to hurt.......or rather most of them, some people are just ****s!

Gets me wicked VOTN dude this shit, honestly we live in a pretty run down roughish area council estate yet the way it was is if another lad or if somebody needed a lift who was older for whatever medical reasons you helped them we even used to carry the shopping of the older people of the estate when we seen them, then we would get back to fighting the other kids off from the other streets trying to take our marbles and footballs toys etc lol gods honets truth lol

People who do this type of thing deserve to receive the same in my humble opinion.....

Probably did it to the dog because the dog lost a fight and lost the owners some money and kudos.
I would put money on the owners wearing big gold (plated)chains,Aquascutum caps and having no tax,mot or insurance on the vehicle they tied the dog to.
These sort of scum that inflict injury on someone/something that cannot fight back deserve all the shit that will inevitably come their way.

Im not a violent person at all but if i saw someone do that to a dog or any animal i dont think i would be abke to stop myself fron seriously damaging them to the point of me getting into serious trouble.

No sane decent person could do a thing like that. People who are cruel to animals are highly dangerous people. There was an American footballer a few years ago who was running dog fights and hanging the dogs from trees and stuff. Disgusting.

Yet another despicable act on a dog, this time petrol is poured over it and burnt to death...... there are some sick bastards about and then you see that 'it' got in terms of sentence.... well words fail me!....

If the sub humans are willing to do this to an animal it's a short step to moving on to people. These ogres have no empathy with any other creatures, human or animal. Sadly a great many of them are actually quite intelligent which makes their actions even more chilling.

This reminded me of comments I saw on my friends Facebook. She was congratulating her son on doing well in his exams and one of her friends, for all the world to see, posted this:

Well done James. Karen you must be proud. Oliver bombed. Is not arses that he bombed. Has no direction and will be lucky the way he's going on to get a job wiping arses. Hope my boy grows up and gets some direction!! Xx well done to Jim bob though. He should be proud. Xxx

Makes you wonder why he did so badly really doesn't it?

Plenty of bad parents around, we're surrounded by them.

I'm sure we all know them

We used to burn women thinking they were witches at one time too. If people are doing bad things, then something is wrong somewhere in the way they think/taught/brought up/lived,(otherwise they wouldnt be doing it). Too much emphasis is put on judging, rather than helping. And yet to have any chance in life to eliminate/eradicate bad behaviour, it can only be achieved through helping. Judging dosnt achieve anything.

So yes, whilst this thread is very sad for the girls in question - Its also very sad for those perpetrating the hatred. Its such a shame that they feel the need to ridicule/hate on others to get by in life. There really is no need for doing it - and its a shame they havnt found that out yet!
