I thought this was well known, to be fair. He played for several clubs across the North, and played three games for us as the back up for Fatty Foukes when he was injured or had indigestion.
Its one of those facts that they have to drag our every 'Black History Month', as apart from Mary Seacole (who was everything they say she wasn't), there isn't a lot of Black History in the UK on account of there being very few black people in Britain up to the mid 1950's. I guess it would be something similar but reversed if Nigeria had a White History Month. Still, diversity and inclusivity....
