'Big questions to be asked'

Arsenal 0-3 Manchester City

Martin Keown

Former Arsenal defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

You can talk about City, they've been outstanding all season, they get better and better, and they've been too good for Arsenal in every department.

It's been a sad evening for Arsene Wenger and I don't think I've seen it this bad for Arsenal since maybe Terry Neill left in the 1980s.

I don't think he'll walk, but this will test his resolve. They've got a big game at the weekend now and then AC Milan. But big questions are being asked now, it these players are giving their all for Arsene Wenger.

Bernardo Silva:

"It was a great game for us, especially the first half. We were focused. We're very happy to stay 16 points ahead of Manchester United.

"My goal was great play from Leroy Sane. I had space on my left foot. I cut in and shot. It was a good goal I'm happy with that.

"We want to win the league as fast as we can."

I hate to say this but it was a walk in the park in the second half.

With goals from Bernardo, Silva and the Sané plus a Penalty save from Eddy I think this is the first time ever I have seen us do the double over Arsenal, certainly since the premier League started.

BBC:

The official attendance has been given as 58,420. They must have counted the number of fingers in the stadium, not the number of people.

Beat Chelsea Sunday and we can send the rags to Palace on Monday night 19 points behind us. Selhurst Park, the legendary graveyard of Liverpool's title hopes...

I think it was a statement by the fans, if 3k of City fans can get there, I am sure a lot more gooners could have done so, Arsene should hold his hands up and take his seat on the board and let someone take over, not that I am complaining I have loved some of his football especially the Invincibles and they played lovely football a pleasure to watch.

City have now taken over as the Entertainers and for once Tyler had it right, instead of praising city for their style of football, The media always want to knock them off their pedestal at the top.

Enjoy it, drink it in because you will see it all again next season.

Very, very happy tonight.
Raise a glass or three to our very special players and manager.
:049:

Guardiola's record after 100 games
Barcelona Bayern Munich Manchester City
Wins 71 77 69
Defeats 10 11 13
Goals scored 242 265 236
Goals conceded 76 69 92

Our defence was an issue last season, so this year it is ok and we are only just starting domination

An outstanding result. First double over Arsenal in ages, first time we have beaten them three times in a season (at theee different venues).

Pep was not be happy with the last ten minutes of the first half and the first twenty mins of the second - he made that clear in his press conference. No resting on any laurels for him, always looking too improve- he will keep them on track.

When arsenal's invincibles went unbeaten in the Premier, they actually only won 26 games, we still have 10 games to play and beat that with 3 more wins.

Sané's goal last night came after 19 passes, there's been 7 goals scored in the PL this season with 19+ passes in the build up, City have scored 5 of them.
