My wife and I were picked up by an Uber driver on Sunday and were having an interesting chat with him. Right up until I mentioned that I was a Tottenham supporter. He looked back and said, "you're lucky we are already in the airport or I would have dropped you off on the side of the road". I looked at him and chuckled and he said "this is no laughing matter mate". He was dead serious. From that point on the conversation stopped and he literally threw our bags out of his car as he left us both agape at the airport.

His licence plate was ARS NAL.

My wife couldn't believe that someone would act like that over a sport team rivalry.

Well we had quite a few last week. A lot of younger ones who were escapees from New York and LA house prices. And a lot of people who were making extra money being an Uber driver. Very interesting views on Uber.

Uber, and now Lyft, have pretty much wiped out the cab business in LV.

Never heard of Lyft but from what I hear Uber have invaded the UK like a plague of locusts. The bosses must be making an absolute fortune.
 
The Bellagio and Aria both have major ride share pick up points and have precedence over taxis. It is an astounding change in such a short period of time.
 
Good job you have not got him as a cabbi after tonight humiliation of le arse....god knows what he might have done in between his sobs and tears!
