Arrested for saying "wooo"

Yup. It's the lack of respect. It is severely lacking in modern society I think.
 
And you know part of the problem fear - schools have no authority over the kids now. They learn from an early age that a bit of sweet talking and they get away with it. Kids rule the schools these days. We have no powers at all. Throw in the unsupportive parents which make the problem worse and you can imagine what its like. The weak teachers have days of hell. Blame the goodie goodies for that too.
 
The problem is that if you take into your own hands then you are the one in trouble with the Police. There is no room for any conflict resolution of our own any more. What a very sterile life they want us to lead.
 
Are we surprised, an assault case was taken up by the CPS the other week and worked it's way to court for a full hearing whereby a boyfriend had turned the garden hose on his girlfriend after a row saying the words 'you need to cool down'.

This should never have gone to court either, could've been dealt with a lot better where the dick was still shown up. Fact of life now it seems for many though, probably didn't even mean to offend just didn't have the wherewithall to acknowledge he could offend in that situation.
 
She must of pressed charges though if it got to court. Absurd nonsense. Now spitting i get... i think thats actually gbh? Water from a garden hose. Worlds gone mad.

Only if you get caught, responding to emotion gets you in trouble, staying cool and using a network of friends to help you out while you're at a public event I would imagine works quite nicely!

I remember watching a film years ago about a network of people who sorted each others problems out, beatings, murder etc, if someone commits a crime such as a murder and they are in no way tied to the individual, it's very difficult for the authorities to catch them if they did their job carefully.

I know of a couple of "collection agents" who were trying to execute a warrant when a transit van pulled up and a group of lads with baseball bats went to work, I think a similar thing was touted by the Gov not long ago, the big society I think they called it, certain individuals in society like to hide behind their job description, at the end of the day bailiffs are no different to the sheriffs men of Robin Hood times, and as we all know, they were the baddies, and should be treated as such.

People are only powerless if they accept that they are.



 
Reading the article it says he was previously charged with harassment and assault, both in the past year. Not a nice bloke to be honest. Article suggests he damaged gravestones when playing football too, and was lucky to get away with it after the witness failed to show. Although I'm not sure if he was intentionally taking the piss out of mourners or if he was just being a bit of a prat.
