Argentine Playmaker Heads To Norwich

Good to read - from what Bailey is saying, this isn't even the Maddison replacement, so we're probably looking at more to come in in that area too

Sounds great ! He should fit in well .Scored 6 goals all season and got himself relegated to La Liga Third Division . He will add competition to Srbeny and Olly in seeing who can score the least goals in a season !

He is a right winger come forward so not really a Maddison replacement. The good thing is he is a different type of forward. 5'7 and has some pace. Not sure he will be the answer and we will still need another forward to come in. I also think he will be used as more of a winger on the right with Wildschut on the way out.

The club will probably do a Watkins on this and say he is one of the new forwards we need when really he is a winger.

Pritchards Replacement it would seem....His arrival has been in the pipeline for some while and we have done well to secure him....This is only one part of the jigsaw of course!

Buendía’s ability to play on either flank and as a number 10 in a 4-2-3-1 formation seemingly earmarks the young forward as a direct replacement for Alex Pritchard, who left us to join Premier League survivors Huddersfield Town for £12m at the start of 2018.
No doubt Buendía’s arrival will have the eyes of City fans casting a glance towards the future of James Maddison, who spent much of his stellar 2017-18 campaign as Norwich’s chief playmaker.
Leicester are leading the chase to sign the Canaries’ player of the season and England Under-21 international
City are looking for a fee worth in excess of £20m to sell their prized asset, in the setting of continued adjustment to life without parachute payments.
