He readily agreed and when the emergency services arrived he pointed to his car when asked where the injured parties were. Despite the taxi driver's protests they proceeded to cut the roof off his car to allow paramedics access to the injured parties. At no point did they simply ask if they could step out of the car. Afterwards the emergency services said that they believed they had done the right thing based on medical needs, so not even an apology.

Sounds stupid to me.
