Are women a little slow?

Oxford extends the exam time for maths apparently women cant cope under pressure I thought it was interesting how it was portrayed.

That's interesting. They aren't great at time keeping at the best of times are they?

I kind of get the reasoning though, exams aren't really meant to be a speed test are they? Should be about what you know (within reason!)
 
I think exams should be completely open, with access to whatever source material you want. The pass mark would need to be higher, but it would simulate real world experience much better. I never once had to do a report without access to everything during my working life.

I was lucky to be very good at exams, but my course work was well below the standard of many others. My sister is the opposite. Wonderful at her job, but unable to cope with the exam pressure when she seeks to better herself.

It's such a strange system.
 
That's a coincidence I was just coming on to say that women were slow except of course our very own KK
 
They were quick enough at passing their A level Maths exam and getting such a good result that they ended up at Oxford.

Maybe they've been hitting the crack pipe. 1st time away from home and all that.
