Good interview, with plenty about his playing career cut short and his transition into management.
As you would expect the priority being to stop the current slide, getting back to basics, making us difficult to beat, clean sheets ect;
Just caught up with the interview. He came across very well, knows the situtation we are in, needs time to sort it out quoting 6 to 8 weeks, wants key players in key positions, so watch out for the Jan transfer window.
Loads of experience. he has done national press at Leicester... Portsmouth... Blackburn...
Coached and watched vardy, maguire, Mahrez etc for a year as recent as 2017-2018. Starts from a whole different level to any previous manager we have had, surely that can’t be disputed. I am looking forward to seeing what he can pass on and teach our lads.
I was quite impressed by that. Spoke very well, yet appears quite self-deprecating for someone who has a master's degree. Sounds level-headed, made no wild promises about promotion or anything else.
