Anyone seen anything about 6 game ban if you give season cards to friends to use?

Apparently level 3 on our rules and conditions says you cannot transfer a ticket

Unless it's via the club methods of doing so?

And can lead to 6 game to season length ban if you do?

It's here

You just have to do it through official channels I think. They need to be a My Forest member. I think you can do a transfer online for that game.
Without selling it to the club?

So you can pick your own friends to give tickets to but they have to be members now?

And you can transfer for no cost if they are?

It's a bit different from the days when most of A block were using under 16 match day tickets and no one bothered checking them.

I think it's just when you register an account on the system?
I rang them up; there is no problem giving the ticket to a family member or a friend so long as they have a Client ID and a membership, which is £45.

I wanted to be absolutely sure as I had a run in with the ticket office over this last season.

They contacted me last season after my son was caught using my card; some officious c * n t from Ticketmaster started reading me my rights, stating that I had an obligation to sell the ticket back to the club for the ticket exchange; told him I had not intention of selling the ticket to anyone and would be giving the ticket to a family member when I could not get.

Didnt hear anything more about it.

The club were fine when I rang; the guy in the ticket office said I just need to transfer the ticket on line for each game and everything will be fine - this goes live from the Fulham game.

What a malarkey

I don't have a season ticket or any friends, but this all seems fair enough to me. Forest, like all clubs, are responsible for the conduct of fans, and knowing who is sitting wherwme, and on what ticket, is part of that. It is also the only way to stop touting of season tickets, since nobody actually knows whether, say, Mao's son is that, or whether Mao has sold his home end ticket to a Manchester United fan for that fixture.

We've got a couple of holidays lined up in the next few months and were due to miss a couple of games, so had sort of promised them to a couple of family friends.
Never had any problems doing this before but looks like we're going to have to disappoint now.

I know of a family who’s grandfather buys 10 tickets for the family. Not all family members can attend every game. Some live further afield. It is a simple way the grandfather can keep in touch with children and grandchildren. They arrange who has tickets and meet up before match where tickets are provided. It ensures those who support Forest but can’t get to most matches do see some when able, it also ensures family gatherings and regular meeting of family members who otherwise wouldn’t meet up.

I understand the reason behind such a move, but these rules shouldn’t impact on enlarged family events. This gentleman is investing, and has done for many years, several thousands of pounds. It shouldn’t be beyond the wit of man to devise a system that allows transfers between family and friends. No money changing hands.

Think they all just need to be members of the club

Which does involve extra expense

Then needs someone good at admin every week forwarding to correct names

It's a pain in the arse of course

Based on how they've treated corporate season ticket holders there won't be any leeway here. No matter how much loyalty and investment the grandfather has made

Now he's just a name and a number with 1000s in a queue lined up behind him if he leaves

The Leeds guy they brought in will be behind it all

Just doing a job he's been brought in to do

Take it or leave it will be the answer

Its the same at other clubs, I used to "Borrow" my mates season tickets at Arsenal when Forest played there, last year I had to join Arsenal to get the app and have the tickets sold to me for £NIL. It was free to join Arsenal, he had posh seats with free beer at half time.

i dont think its fair that that one person can buy ten tickets for his family I admit, It still seems to be touting on paper , even if there isnt a profit And gives an advantage to a wealthier individual to look after his own

Yes - but we haven't got an app, just a SC.
The only ID on the SC is a name & age group. If I gave my card to my brother - How would they know who is using the card?
