Anybody else getting popups and malware on the site now? I'm a big fan of the new setup but I get dodgy popups on my phone and get redirected and Norton blocking stuff on my laptop.

I've been getting pop-ups, purportedly from Google, telling me my IP address has been selected for a prize, usually a Samsung phone or cash up to £500. I have to exit the forum and then go back in to get rid of it.

Same here, pop ups on my phone when using chrome telling me my ip address has won a prize. The only way to get rid of it is to restart the phone. Since this started I've been using firefox with ad blocker for this site and that seems to have solved the problem.

I don't block ads and often actually click them! Not had any issues!

I am also on Firefox and have (as mentioned above) U-Block, but they still keep coming like wasps around the barbie!

I too am getting the message I have won a prize.The first time I pressed the close box but it sent me to the site - now when I get it, which is quite often, I have to come out of the site to get rid of it and it is very annoying !!

Have had similar, not just with us, also Newsnow. We have alerted our agency. This is an industry problem that, as you might remember, has cropped up before. It then gets stamped out and then some sod in the advertising chain gets them back in again.

These aren't sanctioned at all and we will be hoping, like all publishers, they are quickly removed again.

That is exactly what I get on my phone. It is not a popup. It's a hijack amd it's a pain in the arse.
