Any thoughts on new signings this week?

As its deadline day i think on thursday at i believe 5pm ( not 100% on the time).
Does anybody have any thoughts or views on whats lacking or not that we need to sign permenantly.
Is it just good 2 squad fillers to take us to Dannys required 22, permanent this week and 2 loanees by i think end of August?
 
Yep, high-energy CM required. Bossie and co. are all very well but they're virtually pensioners. Their legs have probably gone.
 
I wouldn't be surprised to see a winger come in. Danny Rowe back on loan nearer the end of the loan window perhaps. If we were to revert back to a back 4, then we are short in the out and out winger category. If Ellis Chapman is as high up the pecking order as Danny is saying, then we have enough in the central midfield area.
 
If the stories of Nolan and Nisala leaving Shrewsbury for Ipswich are right I'm guessing they (Ipswich) may look to off load at some point. If so. I think Danny Rowe may be enquired about. Priorities may well lie elsewhere if Waterfall goes and we need either a CH or CM depending where Bozzie is played.
 
i had crookes down as signed to cover the full backs and wharton, not to replace the captain.

so if waterfall goes:
• new first team cb
• still need that left midfielder.
• still need that central midfielder with an engine. ideally someone that is also happy on the ball, and can pick a pass. if we can't afford all that, i would loan edser, as he has been here on trial and is apparently highly rated.

20-1+3=22 [not including mccombe]
22 is still the low limit imo.

and then there is the luque saga to sort.
