Istanbul, Tokyo and Madrid are the contenders in a secret ballot that will be announced at 9pm BST today

1976: Montreal, Canada
1980: Moscow, Soviet Union
1984: Los Angeles, US
1988: Seoul, South Korea
1992: Barcelona, Spain
1996: Atlanta, US
2000: Sydney, Australia
2004: Athens, Greece
2008: Beijing, China
2012: London, UK
2016: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Madrid is fairly confident and so is Tokyo, it seems almost like Turkey has given up by their attitude, I'm sure they wouldn't have but they are very quiet at present, it seems.
Economically, I'm not sure who is best fitted to host them, but there must be a hope with all 3 that it will set up their economies and help with tourism, TV rights,etc etc. I suppose it would come down to who has the most currently held facilities that will find it easiest to host the games.
