Any Playstation Network experts who can help on here?

I have bought my son a PS Vita for Christmas. Trying to set it up today so I can put the games on it.

I have had to set up a Playstation Master Account for me so that I can add a sub account for him, but it doesn't seem to let me create a sub account without an email address. Is there any way of dong this?

I know kids grow up quick these days but he is only 7, so doesn't have an email.

Apparently the sub account restricts age sensitive material and allows the master account to put parental controls on the Vita, which is what I want to do.

If I log in with my account to download the games that I have bought him, will all age restricted games/facebook/chat etc be activated?

Tried to set him up a quick googlemail account, just simply to log onto this Playstation thinghy, but it says he is not old enough.
