Another one gone

No one should get sacked during the season unless the club is willing to take a 15 point penalty! Ive said this before, it should be a proper football rule!

So if you run a company you want it to be a rule that during each year you can only sack people during the Christmas or summer holiday period. It is restraint of trade surely. If someone is incompetent as JED is why shouldn't Scally be allowed to dismiss him.

Don't you think it would be interesting? It would stop teams like Wolves last week sacking their manager! 10 points off the play offs, but with still 30 games to go, so let the manager try and turn it round or look at it this way, 4 points above the relegation zone, sack the manager and be deducted 15 points and be bottom, what would you prefer?

QPR only 6 points off the play offs and 30 games to go, sacking the manager is ridiculous!

Ridiculous idea. Clubs would never take a chance on a young manager - they'd simply settle for mediocrity with a steady 6/10 appointment. Imagine the motivation levels would drop for some if their earnings are safeguarded to some extent irrespective of performance. Managers themselves would also suffer because they'd be stuck in a futile situation where they had a chairman who didn't want them and wouldn't support them rather than moving on and finding alternative employment.

Probably one of the most ludicrous ideas I have ever heard, football is a result business, chairmans inject money into the club and therefore should be entitled to do whatever they want. While I agree to a extent that a manager should get longer. If they are not improving the team then they should be gone only the best managers will stay in the job. Losing 15 points for getting rid of a manager is the same as the EFL letting under 21 teams into the Mickey Mouse cup pointless.

Fancy getting the sack after drawing away after playing 40 minutes with a man less. How does that compare with drawing at home against a team from three tiers further down the league pyramid?
