Ange has learned what?

The only thing we (think we) know is that he wanted Traore and didn’t want Luiz. Beyond that we have no idea who Nuno wanted or what positions he wanted filled.

We needed more attacking options, we needed full backs and we needed a midfielder. Everyone bar Luiz fits the club’s ‘philosophy’.

We will never know exactly what went on but the players we did sign were needed.
Nuno’s strategy worked well when we scored first, as we could control the game. When Man City and Bournemouth (for instance) scored first, we capitulated because there was no plan B. I loved Nuno, but there’s always room for improvement.

I totally agree which is why we brought in the attacking players that we have.

Not necessarily. If we play well and deserve to win, even if we lose then I won't automatically be demanding his head. Would rather play badly and win tho
That’s fine for one or two games but five? Ten? At what point does bad luck become a bad habit?

You could argue we were unlucky on Wednesday but our complete inability to manage the game from 2-0 up created the environment where we could be ‘unlucky’.

If you go all out attack then there will always be enough on the highlights reel to say "we played well and were unlucky".

We know from Nuno and Cooper that playing well can also mean a really organised defence with very few chances going forward that are put away clinically.

He's learned something!

In his last two matches he set us up in a 3-4-2-1/3-4-3 formation.

The Murillo injury made him change to a back four against the Danes, but he came back with a back 3 at Newcastle.

Twice must mean adaptation, not coincidence.

The last 2 matches have been our worst ones.
