There is an interesting debate to be had about what shirt number he will have. His favoured number is 26 and while it hasn't been officially retired how would fans feel about him wearing the number so famously associated with club legend Ledley?

I said it when we signed him, he's a great professional but he's massively on the decline.

He will be good to have in the squad but I really hope he isn't the starting LB next season.

Well there are some who are saying he simply hasn't played enough games and was short on fitness - if true that can often explain how performances fall short - I guess we'll find out soon enough...

There's also the Fact that it is a World Cup game where his defensive 'partners' have been less than inspiring.
Plus heat etc... So not the best way to judge a player.
However as I said when we signed him, hopefully he's maybe cover to rest up Udogie, was on the fence with him at his age... Time will tell... But I wouldnt judge him as part of a low confidence team who have constantly made mistakes at this WC.

As I said Spex, I was on the fence about his signing, but I suppose he cost us nothing and brings expierence and to a degree a winning mentality, who knows. As, I said I hope we didn't sign a big name for the sake of it.

I think must Scots would think 'shit' was praise, they played and look like they'd given up from the first kick - never seen a Scottish team rollover so easily. The Brazilians must have thought it was a training game.
