In May 2013 he took charge of the FA Cup final when unfancied Wigan beat Manchester City by a single goal.

Season 2015/16

Marriner has taken charge of 31 Premier League, Championship, FA, Capital One, Europa Cup and League One matches, during which he’s brandished 107 yellow and five red cards.

Games involving MCFC

Sunday 21 February 2016 - FA Cup – Chelsea 5-1 City
Yellow cards shown to City players – 1 - Demichelis

Monday 21 December 2015 – Premier League – Arsenal 2-1 City
Yellow cards shown to City players – 2- Otamendi & Silva

Mr Marriner is considered one of the best referee’s the Premier League has to offer. Time will tell I suppose!

One of the best in the Prem? Every time I've seen him he looks all at sea.

on the same level as Friend and Sergio could be hit by a bulldozer and still not get a foul.

I'm sure he's been seen in the stands at a Stoke game. We need to start a Twitface campaign :006:
