All EFL matches postponed until after April 3 earliest

Well, it looks like the CMO has realised his stupidity and we are shifting policy to be more in line with every other European and Asian country. A bit late of course but it might only have cost a few thousand unnecessary deaths rather than a few hundred thousand.
 
The country will be on lockdown until at least June (and possibly longer). The only way that football could take place before then would be behind closed doors. It is debateable whether even that would be allowed as I doubt the players would be covered by insurance
 
In Australia we're just on round two of the NRL season and all games have to be played behind closed doors (televised though). Their theory is to ensure that no-one in the team of staff has the virus and to basically self-isolate them all. There was even talk of basing ALL 16 teams in one venue and playing all games there. The CEO of the NRL has said that if games aren't played, due to sponsorship deals etc, then the game won't survive financially in Australia.

The World is a very different place than it was a month ago....
