No, you can't say "must" when that's a complete guess. How many zillions and zillions of occurrences must have happened just right for life to have evolved from nothing? And if life does somehow exist on other planets, how likely is it that one of those species will be able to do space flight? There are apparently 2 million species of animal on earth, precisely ONE of which is developed enough to operate vehicles.
 
The odd thing about UFO sightings is that they have gone DOWN in number in recent years, while most of us have got phones that can take pictures? The peak period for UFO sightings was late 70's / early 80's (which is also when ET and Close rncounters of the third kind were on at the cinema).

It`s because Aliens have become more sophisticated - and besides, all our data is now stored in clouds - they don`t need to hover so low.......
 
There is no evidence at all that most of those things that are claimed as 'alien because humans could not do them' were not just good engineering from the people at the time.
humans at that time were as intelligent as modern humans.

much practical experimental research has shown exactly how things were done so precisely with limited technology.

some things though are not so clear. How were drawings made that are only visible from the air. The ancient writings and those abduction stories where those involved have the exact same memory under hypnosis.
 
Last time I paid attention to all this, and as someone suggested above, the probabilities argument about loads of stars and therefore… was being undermined by how just absolutely right stuff had to be to result in me typing this and you reading it. In all probability we are alone. Odds shorten on a God with ADD, but a wicked sense of humour and a soft heart.

It always amuses me that with alien sightings said aliens are often very human like with heads, eyes, bodies and limbs.

Surely there is a greater chance it's a blob or strange animal?

That`s why they built the pyramids - the old three sided wooden viewing platforms are long gone though !!!
 
Just because the universe is very very big does not mean it is teeming with life. What are the odds of life being formed? The odds might be so remote, so unlikely that we're almost unique.

Also, it all depends how you define life. We only have a very small field of study. We think that life is carbon based. Ot may be there are metallic substances living elsewhere, or even life forms with no physical structure at all.

Also where are we evolutionary wise. Life is very new here. Some planets may have hundreds of milions of years head start. We may be so primitive there is nothing to see here that's worth their while.

maybe we are just some aliens dream or our own dream or ....
 
My mate has a theory that ufo's are time travellers from the future coming back to observe. Obviously there would need to be very strict rules about not interacting with the populatioñ to avoid paradoxes.

That's what I think too. The problem is, is that they are such shit drivers! You'd think they'd be able to fly in clear skies and not crash into the ground lol
