When interviewed he said he was delighted to see Moore go off as he was our biggest threat.
Now how come our own manager couldn't see that and how could our manager not even see Jamal Lowe was having a nightmare?
He must have totally demoralised that lad leaving him on in that game the same way really as when he brought Kai Naismith on that night.
As manager he is supposed to nurture and look after players.

Just posted on another thread Jeff, its all done deliberate by Cook in my opinion to piss the fans off so we'll chant and boo, put the club hierarchy under pressure to sack him.

Even some young lads could see what was wrong yesterday, Cooks not that thick he knows what he's doing!

Cook says he won't start Gelhardt to 'protect him' but has no problem throwing him on when games are lost and putting on pressure for him to be the saviour - he's doing the exact opposite.

At the same time he's not protecting Lowe by playing him every week when his form and confidence has gone and he needs a break. Yet when he scored the winner 2 weeks and his ago and maybe his tail would be up again he got dropped but back in a week later. It makes no sense.

He's done this plenty of times a player has a good game and gets dropped and another plays badly and stays in. Just this season Garner scores his first goal and gets dropped next game for Moore. Then Moore scored first goal in open play then also dropped for Windass. Then Windass doing well out of position scores a few in his run up front then gets dropped too. Sterling arguably had his best game against Luton then dropped next game etc.

To me it just looks like Cook has got favourites and he seems to blow hot and cold on players regardless of their perfomances. The protection is an excuse to justify his decisions that aren't based on form as he doesn't protect any of them with any consistency.

That pretty much sums PC up there KDZ, player has good game = dropped next game, player has a shit game = kept in next game. As for the Geldhart statement - bullshit at it's finest with PC. Down n out with the scouse mafia I'm afraid to say n Geldhart no doubt sold on the cheap to his team down the East Lancs road. #cookout
