Alex Jones

I really don't know why Alex Jones is buying into the Trump bullshit.

I used to like some of what he was about years ago, but now he's coming across more as a Bible Belt evangelist.

Trump said a whole lot of shit during his election campaign that got him votes. Not exactly a new tactic.

There is going to be a lot of disappointed Americans out there in time. But at least next time they can go the other way and vote for another Obama/saviour, only for things to not change much and then go back for another Bush/Trump. And on and on to eternity.

I disagree.. He also said he's going to expose the real people who brought down the twin towers (sorry Kefkat)

Quite, why would anyone believe the most probable story when there is a convoluted conspiracy to be had? You really are the antithesis of Occam and his razor, aren't you.

Like anywhere its more of a case of cities vs. rural I've been to Nashville, Austin etc. and they often lean left but they're out numbered. When you look at the coasts its not as dramatic but its there, suburban mothers voted for trump you know.

Based on your posts I think you're a smart guy but this is one connection you make that doesn't tie in with reality. Its definitely not a majority you're talking about a very load minority. I think also you're ignoring that Trump is an 'isolationist', as much as he talks about wiping ISIS off the map his actions don't tie into this.

I'm always ready to learn, CDX. I admit, I'm just going on what I see from the UK, and from what my US friends tell me. It seems to me that it is the fundamentalist Christian majority causing the trouble. Is that not correct?

I thought you were never wrong Heath?

Was that really necessary? I suggest you look at your motivations for such a post.

You asked me the other day to show examples.

Anybody trying to defend this chap just watch the video and tell me he is a rational man. Seriously.

No, you were point scoring. Unlike you, I am able to learn and adjust. If you can't cope with that, then keep quiet.

I think a lot of Americans bought into the idea that they need a president from outside the Washington elite.

Trump sold them on this with his promise to drain the swamp.

Once you put yourself inside that Breitbart bubble, it's hard to see outside of it.

I don't agree, I think we need to wait and see first.
He's highlighted the war in Iraq and Afghanistan has compleatly disabled the Middle East and was probably the worse decision in American political history. He's also said the war was based on miss information and will open the secret documents of 9/11 that should be made public.
Alex comes across a nut I agree but it's only what the majority of people are starting to realise is wrong and want answers for.

He is not aloe in highlighting the US involvement in the Middle East. On threads here member shave been saying the same thing for years. That doesn't make them geniuses, any more that Trump. It's obvious.

What Trump can do different is how they go forward. Sanctioning the first mission in Yemen for years, suggesting safe zones in Syria, arming their military more, poking his nose into Israel, sanctioning 7 innocent countries and threatening Iran and North Korea do not seem the actions of a man who has a solution.

Because the conspiracy is more probable than the official story.

The average person does say the same thing regarding the Middle East and 911 but it rare that a member of Parliament says it and voices the opinion of the public. Robin Cook did it and the next thing he was found dead up a mountain.

No you were being arrogant as usual.

If I am right more than I am wrong, is that arrogance, or confidence?

Get back on topic, and stop this childish behaviour.

Isn't this the Alex Jones that said Trump was going to lower taxes for the poor and increase them for the rich? How did that pan out, again?

In your case arrogance.

I'm not saying I agree with everything trump stands for but he is challenging some key issues I have strong opinions on.

He's not challenging anything. What has he actually accomplished, so far? Look at it objectively, and what has he done?

I'll tell you. For all his talk, nothing. He's done nothing.

He's only been in for a short time, give the bloke a chance to do something.

Said it before and i'll say it again.

Alex Jones is a right wing shill.

He's got some people hook line and sinker.

Other Presidents got lots more done by this time in their term. Trump himself has said he has accomplished all of his goals, so it doesn't look like their's much left.

Maybe this should be on the Trump thread? This one is about this idiot Alex Jones.
