Must win now on Tuesday at the Heed, two teams who are both struggling since early season promise. But Gateshead do score!
 
Not sure what the answer is, he has some decisions to make regarding attacking options. Throw caution to the wind, the defence is solid, midfield is a problem as is scoring goals.
It’s back to the drawing board. Maybe bring Johnson back in, Francis on one side of midfield Tops on the other with Miley and one other in the centre? 4-4-2
Or
4-3-3 with the new big lad alongside Reid and Johnson, Miley, Tops and Francis. Cam, Kougun/Parkes, McNally and Benn, nothing to lose really, just try to avoid lumping it high for 90 odd minutes (v Gateshead)

We seem to have gone back to strange formations.
I'm expecting us to play 5-4-3-2-1 some time soon. At least we'd have numerical superiority. I firmly believe that players at this level are not good enough to deal with complexity. KISS.
