Aguero, Kane Or Vardy? Golden Boot (11/5/16)

With one game left in the 2015/16 campaign, Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane leads the Golden Boot battle over Manchester City's Sergio Aguero and Leicester's Jamie Vardy.

One game could decide the winner of the Golden Boot race this season, and having been suspended for two games in recent times, Leicester's Jamie Vardy could rue his second penalty miss against Everton, as Tottenham's Harry Kane remains one goal ahead of him, but he has drawn level with Sergio Aguero who has scored in each of Manchester City's last six Premier League games.

Kane - 25 goals
Aguero - 24 goals
Vardy - 24 goals

For Kane's achievements this year, he has a return of 25 goals in 37 matches, and he remains one shy of his 50th Premier League strike for the White Hart Lane outfit.

The Etihad's Aguero is well known, having scored his 100th Premier League goal in their recent game against Newcastle United, and following his arrival five years ago, he is the second quickest player to 100 in the competition. He sits on 102 so far, and 24 in 29 games this season.

The King Power's Vardy has been a revelation this year, with his non-league to potential Premier League winner journey, and his record of goals in eleven consecutive matches in the division is going to be a tough one to beat, given how long it took somebody to get one over Ruud van Nistelrooy's ten in succession. He sits on 24 in 35 games.

Aguero has missed more games than either of these competitors - would like to know his goals per minutes played ratio. He has a decent chance of bagging a couple & it wouldn't half be nice if he did and stick one in the eye of those who once again failed to acknowledge him with even a nomination for Player of the Season.

Kelechi has a goal every 97 minutes in the league.

And a goal every 86 mins in all comps.

Thanks BD.

Minutes per goal shows him way ahead of the other contenders but as it is on total number of goals he remains in with a good shout. Remarkable really given how we have seen him so frequently toil alone against defences.

Bag a hat trick Sunday and he could spoil the media fairytale :026:
