Adam Crookes Signs!

Good, he has looked decent in all the friendlies I have seen. Can play in numerous positions too which will certainly help.
 
Versatile defender with a strong left foot. Just what we need as cover for Wharton. Could he play left back I wonder?
 
Looked pretty decent in friendlies good pairing with Mbulu in the game v Derby - helped to keep Jerome and Martin quiet - liked the look of Mbulu too.
 
Obviously the proof will be in the pudding, but the Cowleys' recruitment has been absolutely on-point this summer. Definitely learned from last year's mistakes.

This would be the first time I think we are in a position to play 3 CHs on a regular basis. I don't think there was much chance before when we only had 3 out and out CHs in the squad but now we can

The only friendly I saw was Blackburn when we were very average all over the park but I thought especially down the left. Toffolo needs time to adjust but may end up being one of these FBs who is better going forwards than defending so another left footed player is a good move
 
Appears to have played right back a few times too, for Guiseley. So cover for three positions at the back, or a possible third centre back. And back up for defensive midfield. Can’t be costing too much and knows the area, no relocation. Perfect for the small squad
 
Pleasing to see he is a Lincoln lad and hopefully with the Riseholme College youth link up plus Improved club reputation and facilities overall perhaps in years to come we will be able to keep the local lads here rather than going to the likes of Forest and Leicester. Anybody know if we have an independent youth development scheme or are we signed up to that one which means PL clubs pay the square root of zero in compo for nicking the best youngsters?
 
Crookes and Luque were the only trialists named in the Derby game, so going by the delayed announcement about Crookes, Luque could also be signed on already. Hence how they aren't bothered about publicising his name. Just a thought...
