A 16-year-old boy has been charged by police investigating five linked acid attacks in London.

The teenager is charged with 15 offences including grievous bodily harm and possession of an item to discharge a noxious substance, the Metropolitan police said. He has been remanded in custody to appear before Stratford youth court on Monday.

What a vile horrid crime but how does a 16 year old lad come up with such a plan unless he was working as part of a group.

The first victim said that motorbike couriers had been stabbed in the area recently.

I have just got 1 of the many reports from the media up on it. There was 431 acid attacks last year. That's an average of more than 1 a day. Here's the article on it.

It's the idea that these guys were part of a group who planned this attack suggests that they are terrorists. As you said, there were 431 acid attacks last year in the UK. I know in India, there are a lot of these attacks, often against women as revenge for a perceived slight.

I have no Intention of "Over Egging" fuck all but I bet you a pound when the police make further arrests there is a gang behind this. A 16 year old you getting sulphuric acid!!!
5 attacks on Friday all to steal the vehicle the courier was riding suggests to me this prick was not working alone and someone has a market for small petrol bikes.

Remind me again where I said it was linked to Terrorists?

 
Just amazing people so young think of doing something so evil.... (or of any age but at least if someone has grown old and bitter and had time to become a coward and nut job you'd have 'get it')

Agreed TuBBz and I've said it many times now, they should from a very early age at school stigmatise the use of knives and other weapons and slowly indocrinate the kids to realise only cowards use such methods.

It's apparently 'cool' to have knives these days. Saw someone glassed once, that wasn't cool either and the guy that did it got a total kicking (serious kicking) which was just reward but also not totally nice to see!

Oh yes, make it cowardly and stamp out some generations growing up thinking they are gangsta if they have knives/other weapons.

If they give a slap hand sentence for this regardless of the lads age it will open the door to every
nutjob,drug dealer, and gangster as a new way to hurt folk. As already stated it can destroy some ones life.
