A - Aire. A major river in the county. Starts at Malham Tarn, flows underground to Aire Head then passes through various towns including Skipton, Keighley and Leeds before its confluence with the Calder at Castleford.
 
C CONISBROUGH - small town in South Yorkshire that has, what is thought to be, the oldest building in South Yorkshire in Conisbrough Castle which is talked about in Walter Scott's Ivanhoe.

I - "(On) Ilkley Moor Bar t'At" is a famous Yorkshire folk song. Ilkley Moor is an elevated area of moor between Ilkley and Keighley in West Yorkshire.
 
L - Leeds. City in West Yorkshire. My father came from Morley and my aunt lived on Devonshire Avenue near Roundhay Park in Leeds. Visited often as a boy.
