B - Brigadier Gerard. Racehorse named after the hero of a series of novels by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. In a racing career in early 1970s won 17 of 18 races and is rated the best horse trained in Britain in the 20th century.
 
D - Duke of Normandy. Pigeon. First carrier pigeon to bring back news from paratroops of 21st Army Group on D-Day. Awarded the Dickin Medal for conspicuous gallantry in this act on 8th January 1947.
 
H HARRY Brightmore - Olympic Gold winner when he was Coxswain for GB in the 2024 Summer Olympics. He's also won European and World Championships.
 
I - Iroquois. First American horse to win the Derby in 1881. Followed it up by winning the St. Leger the same year. The horse's success led to a significant increase in the popularity of horseracing in the USA.
 
J JOHN McEnroe - Left-handed tennis player who won Wimbledon 3 times, the US Open 4 times plus The Masters and WCAT Finals.
 
L LILY Allen - Singer-songwriter. Won Brit award for "Best British solo artist" (2010), NME award for "Best solo artist " (2014)... also won NME award for "Worst dressed performer" (2007)!

O - Oedipus. American Champion Steeplechase Horse 1950, 1951 and 1952 and winner of all three races in the USA steeplechasing Triple Crown in 1951.
 
Q Anthony QUAYLE - British tv and film actor (1917-89) . Won several awards eg the BAFTA award for "Best Actor in a Leading Role" for his performance in the film "Ice cold in Alex" (1959).

...or... QUEENS PARK RANGERS - won the League Cup in 1967. They haven't won any major trophies since.
 
T TERRY Griffiths - Snooker player (1947-2024) . Won the World Snooker Championship (1979). Also won the Snooker Masters (1980) and the UK Snooker Championship (1982).
