A-Z of UK Number 1s

S Block Buster by SWEET was number one in January 1973 and stayed their for five weeks. It was their only number one (I think).

W - Whatever Will Be, Will Be (Que Sera, Sera). Sung by Doris Day in the 1956 film, The Man Who Knew Too Much, when it won the Oscar for best original song and went on to spend six weeks at Number 1.

X XANADU was a hit for Olivia Newton John and ELO in 1980 and was ELO's only number one in the UK. Was written by Jeff Lynne for a musical of the same name.

Y - You Don't Have To Say You Love Me. Dusty Springfield 1966 Number 1 which surprisingly (to me anyway) was only at the top for one week.

Looked through my list and can't see a Z for either song or band.:(
I was surprised ZZTop didn't have a Number 1. Only Z I could find was 2016 single Pillowtalk by Zayn (Zayn Malik formerly with One Direction) which spent one week at Number 1.
First one I thought of was Zoom by Fat Larry's Band but only got to Number 2 in 1982.

Another one done. I enjoyed the nostalgia although some tunes are now stuck in my head.

I looked at Fat Larry too. Don't think the sites I look at go as far as 2016!!!
