G GUY Butler - British sprinter who has four Olympic medals winning a gold in the 4 × 400 m relay in 1920. Seb Coe, Christine Ohuruogu, and Mo Farah are the only British Olympians with four medals.
J JAVELIN - Steve Backley got 2 silvers and a bronze in this event for GB and in 1984 Tessa Sanderson got a gold while Fatima Whitbread has a silver and a bronze.

R RHYTHMIC GYMNASTICS - first appeared in the Olympics in 1984 and for women. (not sure if men do it now?) The equipment includes ribbons, balls, ropes and hoops.
S - Shot Put. One of four Olympic throwing events. Men's competition has been in since the first modern games in 1896 while the women's event came in 1948.
