No - I was going to the bar to get some drinks. She attempted to block my path!

You may be thinking , " if Mike wasn't a fan why was he there?" I'd gone to see the main act of that night. Can't rememeber who - possibly Mark Steel? Skint Video?, Arthur Smith?... and Jenny Eclair just happened to be one of the other acts on the bill.

X - Xavier steak. Originated in New York; beef steak strips, asparagus and melted Swiss cheese. Possibly named for St Francis Xavier.
Or, Potage a la Xavier. Cream soup with chicken also named either for the above or possibly invented by Louis Stanislas Xavier de France (later Louis XVIII).

Y YOYO - Yoyo was the robot half of the US tv comedy detective duo "Holmes and Yoyo", starring Richard B. Shull as Detective Alexander Holmes and John Shuck as his android assistant, Gregory "Yoyo" Yoyonovich (1976). Only seen a few episodes on YouTube. Quite funny, a bit like "Get Smart". Yoyos are/were disc-shaped chocolate wafers. ("Viscounts" are similar).
