R RESOLUTIONS - it's something people do on New Years Day and then do Lindum's 'Q' a couple of days later.

My 'Dry January' lasted two days.

S - Same Old Lang Syne. Dan Fogelberg song from his 1981 LP, The Innocent Age. About a chance meeting of two people who had been lovers. Melody is from Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture and the song ends with a saxaphone rendition of Auld Lang Syne. Video on YouTube.
