A new season is upon us so what else could we have for our next A-Z!

A Attack! - what we want our team to do a lot this coming season

F Fiinal whislte -referee's signal that the 90 minutes PLUS stoppage time are up. The last bit is important - it's when we usually let the opposition score. We can only hope that changes, but I wouldn't bet on it.

G - GOAL! We are hoping to see more balls in the net than just over the crossbar, just missing the upright, easily caught by the goalie . . . . .

Lol!

H - Half-time. Chance for the manager to be sure the players know how to win the game!!

N Nutmegs - kicking the ball through an opponents legs, then running past and getting it again. In the Trevor Phillips (R.I.P.) player profile in a Millers match programme , in the "Biggest career disappointment" section, he replied "Being nutmegged by Tony Currie".
:balloon:
Most other players answers were injury related.

No obvious standout "Offside" Miller springs to mind ... Junior MacDougald possibly ? Neil Warnock was sometimes offside, because he wasn't the fittest, and was sometimes still trying to run back, out of breath, from the previous attack ! :p

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

P "Parking the bus" - Jose Murinho type of defensive blocking strategy which we never use (or possibly are just incapable of achieving ), but some of our opponents will.
