A-Z Of Films With Names In The Title

... or "SYLVIA" - 2003 film about the poet /writer Sylvia Plath. Haven't seen the film, but I have been to her grave, which is in Heptonstall, near Hebden Bridge. Its a bit cold, dark and bleak up there in winter!

T "TOMMY" - musical fantasy film (1975) based on the 1969 rock-opera album by the Who. Tommy was played by Roger Daltrey. The film was directed by Ken Russell.
Prefer "The Who sell out" and "Who's next" albums, myself.

... or "VAN DIEMAN'S LAND" - escaped convict film (2009). Anthony van Dieman was Dutch colonial governor of the area of Australia which is now known as Tasmania. Not seen it.

W "WILLY WONKA & THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY" - musical fantasy film (1971), starring Gene Wilder . Directed by Mel Stuart and based on a story by Roald Dahl. Favourite film of Trevor Phillips , according to his player profile in a Millers match programme! (His player profile also included : best match - Swan Vesta, pet hate - John Green, biggest career disappointment - being "nutmegged" by Tony Currie). :p

Nice to see someone who put some thought into that section of the programme! You could tell some of them hadn't a clue!
