... or British Summer Time (BST)- starts on the last Sunday in March, which is usually around Easter time. Clocks go forward one hour. The Green 'Un once advised readers to put their clocks BACK one hour for the start of BST! I had friend (not a Green 'Un reader) who put his clock back when it should have gone forward... turned up in the student union bar and couldn't understand why they were ringing "Last Orders"!

C CROCUS - a spring flower - about 5 years ago I planted about 100 crocus in various pots and in the garden at the back - think I've had 4 purple ones in one place and 2 in another.

F - FOOTBALL ... tradition of playing two games of league football over Easter. Good Friday/Easter Saturday plus Easter Monday. No longer games on Christmas Day though.
