A Abbots Gold - cheese made in North Yorkshire. Once had it when I was out somewhere and had a steak and a slice was put on top.

B Branston pickle - nice in a cheese sandwich

C Cheddar (British mature from Aldi)

D Danish Blue - I do like blue cheese

E Emmental - Pale Swiss cheese with a nutty flavour. Quite like it.

I love blue cheese but dates!! Yuk! I have mine with oatcakes, grapes and a glass of Shiraz!

F - Fromage De Montaigne De Savoie (or something like that). Not really my cup of tea but my sister in France loves it.

My sister was living in France but now she's in Spain. Do they have cheese in Spain?

They have nice cheeses in the Canaries so I imagine they have them on the mainland too!

H Halloumi - Greek cheese made from a mixture of cows and goats milk

I'm sure there must be cheeses beginning with "I" but I've never tried one and I can't think of any accompaniments either.

There is Lindum!

I Iberico - made in Spain! They have ham with the same name too. It's a hard cheese with little indentations more than holes.

J Jarlsberg - cheese from Norway. Made from cow's milk. Fairly pale and mild tasting. Quite like it.

Always found Red Leicester to be a bit bland.

M - loads of choice but I'll go with one I like, Montagnolo which is a soft blue cheese. Always assumed it was from Italy but it says Product of Germany on the packet?
