Times appear to be changing in an exciting way down the Tottenham High Road. I have, and always will have, a healthy respect for DL. His dream of a world class stadium has been realised and significantly increased the clubs’ income from non-football events as well as the match day income.
DL was a stubborn negotiator in the world of transfers and would rarely tread beyond the price he believed to be a player’s worth. In the modern football environment such a morality is, unfortunately, counter-productive. What does that say about modern football.
But now it seems that the powers that be are no longer reluctant to compete financially for the players they deems necessary to bring on-field success to THFC.
For clubs to compete at the highest level, TIME is now in the driver’s seat. There is no longer time to develop a squad over three or four seasons. Immediate success is the demand of the day. This can only be realistically achieved by buying success.

The 26/27 season is shaping up to be one of the most significant seasons in the clubs’ history. Despite two consecutive seasons of battling relegation Spurs supporters can now look forward with optimism to what lies ahead.
