Here's a nice article in The Sporstman.

That's three or four national publications that have covered County in the last few months by my reckoning. I hope this positive coverage continues and that County's commercial department cashes in on this. I do hear good things about Simon Dawson (the Commercial Manager) - he has dealt with a mate of mine who is a club sponsor and his praises have been sung.

(I would expect at least some of any profit the club makes to be re-invested in the playing side, but that's another topic for another day)

Sorry that doesn’t seem to work. Will try again when I get back to the UK

With the line-up for the 2019-20 National League season now complete, some bookmakers are now providing odds for the coming campaign. It's likely that these odds will change between now and August as teams make signings or are seen to be in problems in terms of their status. For the moment, SkyBet predict that Chesterfield and Notts County will be the front runners for the league title, whilst Yeovil Town are predicted to finish somewhere between 8th and 10th.

The bookies rate promoted North/South Champions Stockport County and Torquay United highly, but believe that North/South play-off winners Chorley and Woking will struggle. Their rank outsiders are Maidenhead United, who finished in 19th place during the 2018-19 season, ten points off the relegation zone. Boreham Wood, who finished 20th and Gateshead who were 9th but are currently experiencing significant off-the-field issues, are also rated poorly.

Betting for the single automatic promotion place is as shown below. SkyBet also offer each-way betting on a top three position based on a quarter of those odds.

SkyBet Odds For 2019-20 National League Title Winners:
Chesterfield, Notts County 7/1; Wrexham 10/1; Barnet, AFC Fylde, Stockport County, Torquay United 14/1; Harrogate Town, Solihull Moors, Yeovil Town 16/1; Bromley, Dagenham and Redbridge, Sutton United 20/1; Dover Athletic, Eastleigh, Ebbsfleet United, Hartlepool United 25/1; Barrow 28/1; Chorley 33/1; Boreham Wood, Gateshead, Halifax, Woking 40/1; Maidenhead United 50/1.

I have to say, I think that is a tad too optimistic. 10th place would be my prediction, and a push in season 20/21

It certainly surprised me but County will have the momentum to push for a high place. I would expect Fylde and Chorley and Torquay to be up there somewhere.
Loved Norway but very expensive particularly the alcohol. I went TT for the time we were there. Can't recommend Bergen too much and highly recommend it for a long weekend break ....... but don't drink too much or you will go broke.

I note your advice on alcohol and pricing! There is some nice Norwegian beer around if you look in the specialist bottle shops (and there are three in the Heatons I can think of!). Lervig do some astounding imperial stouts but they are pricey. Amundsen are another one. Anyway... going off at a tangent. I suppose I should whinge on about the rise in season ticket prices at some point... !
