Champion Accountants has been appointed by Blackpool Football Club to provide a variety of accounting and auditing services.
The football club will join the firm’s other group of sports clients, with Champion Accountants also advising Salford City FC, Leigh Centurions and the Professional Footballers Association (PFA), as well as several international footballers, cricketers and rugby league players.
David Hardy, director of Champion Accountants, said that there is a “certain level of pride” in being appointed to support the strategy to rebuild the club.
