I agree Gray that's a good read.Sends a shudder darn the spine when it reads BDBL has hosted more 3rd tier games than top tier games in't last 40 years and one top flight season since 1994,yet we still luv em dunt we,well us TRUE BLADES do.:yes::giggle:UTCB
 
Hit it on the head, in financial terms we are punching way above our weight and have built a team that are hard working journeymen but play a unique system that I still think other teams can't work out. We've done this kind of thing before, of course, Warnock and the Lord of Longball achieved miracles on small budgets but we've never done whilst playing good, free-flowing football.
Only a week or so to the end of the window and I feel just a couple of top signings (midfield cover for Norwwod and Fleck maybe) and we might just have enough to do it.
 
.....Seems to me that all this highlights is the pathetic efforts of the 'Penalties' for the transgressors, laid down by the Authorities, if anything it encourages the all or nothing route.
