9 Points For Man City To Play Catch Up

There are now three games left for Manchester City to try and secure second spot in the Premier League table.

The race for the Premier League title is over, Leicester sit on 76 points and City can only reach a maximum of 72 now, but the battle for second spot with Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal is still on.

Spurs sit four points ahead of City, but later this evening that could become seven.

With 9 points to play for second spot is not guaranteed but it remains a mathematical option and if not it has to be third doesn't it.

I think the catch up has now disappeared and its 9 points to 3rd place.

I'd never write us off when there's still a chance of Spurs slipping up, but they don't look like they're going to. Mind you, I thought that about the dark side with six to go in 2012 :020:
